About this Promotion
We want our customers to know we are taking the coronavirus outbreak seriously and to let you know the procedures we have put in place for the foreseeable future.
Staffing Loaf In the event of a member of staff needing to self-isolate they will be paid their normal wage. There is no need for them to come in. We have a plan in place for how to manage if someone were to come down with symptoms while at work.
Visiting the Shop If you are feeling unwell, or believe you could be at risk of carrying coronavirus, please do not visit us at this time.
We have trialled and are now going ahead with a re-jig of the shop which will keep the number of customers inside at any one time to a minimum. For the time being the bakery will remain open and we would love it if you carried on buying our bread.
We will be encouraging you all to keep your distance from each other in the queue, the advice is a two metre gap.
We ask that customers pay by card where possible. We will of course still accept cash.
If you would like to wash your hands, please ask to use our facilities. If we are able to procure hand sanitiser we will make this available.
We already maintain a high standard of hygiene in our bakery and shop and are confident our procedures match those recommended for coronavirus. We will continually review these.
Cookery School Classes We have made the decicision to postpone all of our upcoming courses for the rest of the month, credit is being offered and we will extend vouchers as well . Future courses will be assessed in the coming weeks.
What else are we doing? We are starting to make plans to see if we can offer a delivery service in our local area as and when this becomes a need in our community.
We hope to work with other local co-operatives so we can support each other in challenging circumstances and still keep you supplied with bread.
We are planning to pro-actively bake for Foodbank B30 who are in need of supplies in the midst of this crisis.
