As fully accredited members of the Farm Assured Scheme for British Beef and Lamb, we recognise that well treated animals produce quality meat that distinctly tastes better. We take great pride in the fact all beef is either reared by ourselves, at our own farm or sourced from a local farm at Plumtree. This means that the practical absence of livestock transportation significantly reduces stresses placed upon all animals, ensuring a much greater, general quality of life.
Free to roam in a spacious outdoor environment, all cattle are well looked after, fed on a quality diet consisting of grass, hay, silage and cereal without the use of added growth promoters, hormones or additives. This ensures a succulent, full flavour on all beef joints, steaks and fillets.
All beef is hung for a minimum of 21 days, to guarantee tenderness and a full flavour.
